What is RoundTrip?

RoundTrip provides care coordinators with a simple, web-based portal and mobile platform that connects patients with on-demand, non-emergency medical transportation.

We shadowed care coordinators and rode along with drivers
to identify the most critical functions for the application.

Along the way, we heard horror stories caused by an outdated system. One care coordinator told us about a patient whose request to a see a specialist was ‘lost in the system’. The ride was never dispatched and the patient lost their eyesight.

Motivated to improve lives, we prototyped interfaces for care coordinators and drivers to test.

Rapid Prototyping

We iterated on our prototypes as care coordinators and drivers tested the interface.

By the second week, our users felt confident with the flow of the application. At that point we finalized the visual design and began architecting the application.

Since launch, the company has announced partnerships with Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children and Cooper University Hospital to bring better care to patients.
